This is probably old news to you by now but I am still not happy about this decision by the I.A.U. Who are they to kick Pluto out of the planetary club? I might sue on Pluto's behalf for discrimination. They say it's due to size and that is some major discrimination!!! ;-) Pluto has orbited the earth and been one of the NINE planets for the past seventy-six years. (Didn't know I was that smart, did ya? Oh, but I am as long as I can Google!!!) This is just ridiculous.
It does bring up the question of what would Disney have named Pluto the dog if we had never had Pluto the planet? Uranus? Neptune? Jupiter? None of those work as well as Pluto!! Pluto (dog) showed up the same year that Pluto the planet came to be so the Walt Disney lovers could be walking around with a different name on their shirts!!! LOL
How can you kick a planet out that has it's own moons? Pluto has three moons named Charon, Nix, and Hydra. At least Pluto has company now that the planetary club has kicked the poor thing to the curb. The below picture is one of Pluto with its moons.

I'm still going to acknowledge Pluto as a planet in my world. I like living in my world and I can have whatever planets I would like!!!
If you would like to read more about the origins of Pluto, you may do so here. It is an interesting article and I totally agree with him at the end.
