A twisted ponytail is a fine place to store a pencil or a paintbrush. However, you should remember it is there. You can jab yourself if you lean back and forget that pencil is there. It is also recommended that when you use it to store your paintbrush that the tip is pointing OUT or you could have some painted hair!!! ;-)
